This is Svalbard taken from the plane window in late June 2013. It is a land of icy peaks, and warm (relatively) water from the Gulf Stream, a good recipe for fog. The plane flew over the fog with the peaks sticking up through it, and then a gap appeared with the fjord below, a pathway down to the airport at Longyearbyen. Yes, it is a bit "central", but still works as a landscape.
