Ross Sea & McMurdo Sound
In 2011, I was lucky enough to be on a voyage on the Kapitan Khlebnikov into the Ross Sea, down to Mc Murdo Sound. We saw the Ross Ice Shelf, and were able to visit the historic huts of Scott and Shackleton, as well as drop into one of the famous Dry Valleys of Antarctica. These are a few of the photos I took. I shall try and find time for captions, just to identify the wildlife, although some are obvious, such as the Emperor Penguins.
