The rain tree in spring
This tree is in my backyard, and the series of pictures were taken from the same vantage point over three weeks in November 2014. We call it a "rain tree" but I'm don't know the correct name or even if it is a rain tree. It is about 20 meteres high and about 35 metres in diameter. THe flowers have a delicate perfume, but only last a day or two, and then fall, leaving a soft fragrant carpet underneath the deep shadow. THe sequence is best viewed as a slideshow, with #13 being a different shot from ground level.
