Infrared Pics 2019
I have finally had time to experiment and investigate how to process infrared images on DxO Photolab. I have configured some preset processes, with wildly varying colour schemes. Not sure which at present is my favourite, but some images cry out for blue sky and other moody images need a black sky. Mandatory elements for a good IR image are bright light and high contrast, trees and vegetation, and finally some sort of building or structure for scale. All taken on my IR converted D300, using Nikkor lenses 10.5mm, 12-24, 16-85, 28/2.8D and 50/1.4D.
