Panoramas, old and new.
I have uploaded some panorama images for perusal. Some of these are from exotic places, like the polar regions, and some from closer to home. Over the years, I have used a variety of programs to create the images. Sometimes, a view cannot be captured using a 3:2 or 4:3 aspect. I have used either a 35 or 50mm lens in a vertical aspect, with a tripod, taking up to 8-10 images to blend. Software can create the wide image, which then is cropped and edited with whatever program is available. I have printed a few; I think that is the best way to appreciate panoramas. Certainly, it is hard to get the “big picture” on a computer screen.
